The Old Cinema

August 10th 2010katie

We headed out to West London on Sunday to visit Josh’s brother and his new flat; while out there we took a wander up to Chiswick and this gorgeous vintage furniture emporium, the Old Cinema. Housed in – guess what – an old cinema, it’s two huge floors of pure wonder containing everything from Edwardian writing desks to recycled jet engine coffee tables. I particularly fell in love with the upcycled camera lamps and letterpress coffee tables, which I fancy having a go at DIYing. Definitely an inspiring trip for our new house.

Check out the full range at their website or the showroom at 160 Chiswick High Road.

I can't believe I was working in Chiswick for 4 months and never made it here – it was a long way down the road, that's my excuse…
