Food poster

October 17th 2010katie

Excuse the veer into self-promotion but I wanted to share this new print that I’ve just put up for sale in my Etsy shop. It’s my first-ever screenprinted piece – a typographic poster inspired by a WW1-era poster encouraging people to eat thriftily.

It comes in duck-egg blue and mushroomy grey, printed onto recycled paper stock (props to my lovely local screen printer Loligo for doing such a great job with the printing). Hope you like it! I’m keeping one of each to hang in my new kitchen.

I also have some new vintage bookplates and advertisements in the shop, including this quite excellent Victorian gent from Vanity Fair. Ain’t he dapper?

Vintage prints

All up for grabs in my Etsy shop.

I love them and will definitely buy one when I get paid. I've been in my flat two years and ALL the walls are still bare. Terrible.

Those Food prints are fantastic and I'll be ordering one as soon as I get paid tomorrow!
As for the others, not quite sure I get them. Did you design these or are you just showing something you acquired?
